Q. Do you have to be a member of the
Chamber of Commerce to become a member of YBNext?
A. No, it is not a requirement. If your business or the business
you work for is a member of the Effingham Chamber of Commerce,
your enrollment fee is $50.00 per person. If it is not, your
enrollment fee is $75.00 per person. Spouses can join for an
additional $10.
Q. Do you have to be employed to be a
member?
A. No, we encourage anyone who lives and/or works in Effingham
County to get involved. The purpose of our organization is to
enrich and recruit the future leaders of our community.
Q. What are the requirements to be a
YBNext Member?
A. Members should be between 21 and 45 years of age and live or
work in Effingham County.
Q. When are dues due?
A. Annual dues need to be paid by April 1, 2010. The membership
begins on April 1, 2010 and ends on March 31, 2011.
Q. Can you enroll throughout the year?
A. Yes, after October, the membership dues will be prorated.
Q. Are the YBNext events open to
non-members?
A. Events that are open to non-members are advertised as such.
Q. Do you have to join a committee if you
join?
A. While you are not required to join, we strongly encourage you
to participate in one of our committees. Newer organizations,
such as ours, rely on group participation to ensure future
successes.
Q. How can I become a speaker at one of
the mix-n-mingles or other YBNext
events?
A. Speakers are by invitation only. However, we welcome ideas
and suggestions. This information will be passed along to the
proper committees. |
